Days of Exaltation of Centola

The opening of the spider crab season at the beginning of November marks the start of these festivities, which take place from the end of that month until the Constitution Day bank holiday. Thus, in 2025 we will pay tribute to this exquisite crustacean from 27 November to 8 December.

At present, the Association of Business Owners of O Grove (Emgrobes) is responsible for organising these events, during which local restaurants serve this delicacy prepared with both innovative and traditional recipes. These gastronomic days are therefore a unique opportunity for visitors to enjoy the king of shellfish. In addition, various activities are organised to promote the Centolo do Grove, such as tastings, exhibitions, sampling sessions, and competitions.
