Paxariñas-Montalvo coastal path
This route covers a total distance of 1.33 km and runs between Paxariñas Beach, skirting the point to the right, and Montalvo Beach, on its left side.
Both beaches have been awarded the Blue Flag continuously. Montalvo Beach received the award for the first time in 2000. Paxariñas Beach received it in 2001, losing it only in 2015 due to the refurbishment and safety works carried out on its cliff and access.
Along the entire length of this trail, you can enjoy spectacular views of the mouth of the Pontevedra estuary, as well as the Ons Archipelago (Atlantic Islands National Park).
From the part of the trail closest to Paxariñas Beach, opposite, you can see the cliffs of Cabicastro. At the other end, you will find yourself in the dune area of Montalvo Beach.
