Damals bestand das urspr\u00fcngliche Ziel dieser Feier darin, die Meeresfr\u00fcchte von O Grove hervorzuheben. Nach mehreren Ausgaben des Wettbewerbs gelang es O Grove, den Spitznamen \u201ePara\u00edso do Marisco\u201c zu erhalten, den es noch heute tr\u00e4gt und der es von anderen Gemeinden unterscheidet.<\/p>\n<p>Zu Beginn der 1980er-Jahre erreichte die Gr\u00f6\u00dfe dieser Feierlichkeiten ein solches Ausma\u00df, dass wir dar\u00fcber nachdachten, die Anzahl der Tage, die die folgenden Ausgaben dauern w\u00fcrden, zu verl\u00e4ngern. Dies f\u00fchrt zu einer Zunahme folkloristischer, kultureller und p\u00e4dagogischer Aktivit\u00e4ten rund um das O Grove Seafood Festival.<\/p>\n<p>Es ist offensichtlich, dass das Festival <strong>eines der besten Schaufenster f\u00fcr die Produkte aus den galizischen Flussm\u00fcndungen<\/strong> ist, wie die <strong>unaufh\u00f6rliche Zunahme der Besucher<\/strong> beweist, die Jahr f\u00fcr Jahr kommen. Zu diesen Initiativen kamen noch Initiativen im Zusammenhang mit der Verwaltung von Servietten hinzu, durch die deren Verbrauch um die H\u00e4lfte reduziert werden konnte, sowie der Verzicht auf Dosen und Verpackungen, die durch <strong>Mehrweg- oder Recyclingglas<\/strong> ersetzt wurden.<\/p>\n<p>Ebenso war die letzte durchgef\u00fchrte Ma\u00dfnahme der Austausch von Plastikbechern, einem Element, das normalerweise gro\u00dfe Mengen M\u00fcll erzeugt. Auf diese Weise werden, den Empfehlungen der Europ\u00e4ischen Union folgend, beim Festa do Marisco <strong>Mehrwegbecher<\/strong> verwendet. Aus diesem Grund werden 0,60 Cent f\u00fcr ein Mehrwegglas mit graviertem Festa do Marisco-Emblem bezahlt, das bei jedem Getr\u00e4nkekonsum verwendet werden kann.
